THE ROLE

As Manager, you will assist the owner in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.  As a team lead, you will delegate tasks and support the team to provide prompt service, high quality food and drinks, a professional, clean environment and a wow experience that will keep customers coming back...

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by:

    • working with a sense of urgency and demonstrating a positive and friendly attitude

    • assisting customers with product and nutritional information and selection

    • preparing food and drinks in an accurate and timely manner

    • maintaining a professional, clean, well-organized and food-safe environment

    • ensurining a well stocked display and cleaning produce shelves and displays to ensure fresh and appealing

  • Responsible for point of sale operations with ability to handle cash accurately.

  • Organize and perform opening and closing duties as assigned – this includes setting up the store and ensuring clean up after the store closes.

  • Communicate information to the owner on store operations and team performance.

  • Support new team members with training and coaching as required.

  • Work as part of a team, and maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

  • Following company Policies and Procedures.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (if you’re flexible, we’re flexible).

  • Ability to learn about all products and ingredients to better inform customers and be aware of allergens.

  • A passion for healthy, plant-based nutrition and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

  • A strong work ethic, reliable and with effective time management skills.

  • Experience in food and beverage sales and preparation preferred.

  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

  • Ability to direct the work of others and work as part of a team.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to learn quickly.

 

COMPENSATION: tips + wage + staff discounts

 

HOURS:  35 hrs/wk.  Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
